Always a dog lover, I've had a few different breeds over my lifetime. I've always had a fondness for Sighthounds so Italian Greyhounds have been the perfect fit for me. I've exculsively shown and own them for nearly 20 years. They can be difficult dogs to exhibit because of their aloof and sensitive nature. Please be careful who you buy a puppy from. Breeding is more than putting two pretty dogs together. It takes a lot of time, researching of pedigrees, socializing pups, health testing and money.
About My IGs
All my IGs are health tested. I strive to breed only the healthiest, soundest and the closest fit to the AKC Standard. No dog is perfect, but some are more perfect then others. I take seriously the mandate to protect the breed. My dogs are spoiled rotten and only a chosen few special individuals may own a Charis IG.
I live in Littleton, CO
In the foothills on 35 acres with my husband John, The photo above is a view from our deck just past our dog yard.
Martingale Collars
I've been making Fancy Martingale Collars for IGs about 10 years. I started when I wanted something really pretty for my own IGs and couldn't find any that were with in my price range, unusual and special. Needless to say my IGs have a big collection. All my collars have a very low mark up so that anyone can have a beautiful collar at an affordable price. Other breeds of dogs also wear my collars such as Chinese Cresteds, Saluki, big Greyhounds and Whippets.
My Beliefs
As a Christian I'm determined to maintain a high standard of conduct, integrity, ethics and honesty in all I do. This would include my relationships, exhibiting dogs, care of our dogs and of course breeding. My moral code is founded on Biblical principles-- God's commandments and statues. Just as there is no perfect dogs there are no perfect human beings, but those who are in a relationship with the higher authority are also accountable to Him. I am always striving to reflect His perfect standard and perfect love. God has unconditional love for us all but is not unconditional about His standard for our behavior.
